MyersMyers Beds was set up in 1876 by Horatio
Myer in Vauxhall Walk, London producing iron bedsteads and
mattresses of woven wire. Through the reign of Queen Victoria
and well into the 20th Century Myers continued to grow and
prosper. In 1962 a second manufacturing site was opened at
Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire in order to increase production.
In 1982 the Vauxhall Walk site was closed and today all Myers
beds are manufactured at the 300,000 sqft factory in
Huntingdon.
Myers mattresses are manufactured in all UK standard sizes
including 3ft 0in Single, 4ft 0in Small Double, 4ft 6in Double,
5ft 0in King and 6ft 0in Super King.
Myers Mattress Collection The current Myers UK Mattress Collection includes seven distinctive
ranges;
Open Coil Mattress Collection – A traditional single
layer spring system. Mattresses in this collection are: Metro,
Sceptre, Masterpiece, Montreal, Coral, Rose Charm, Blenheim

Backcare Mattress Collection – The Backcare range are
firmer mattresses, supporting the spine in its most natural
position. Ideal for people wanting a firmer feel to their

Twinspring Mattress Collection – These mattresses contain
a double layer of springs for twice the comfort and support.

Myertherm Mattress Collection - The Myertherm collection
is a range of mattresses which have two sleeping surfaces;
the Warm Side for Winter and a Cool Side for Summer. The Mattresses
in this collection are Seasons and Isotherm.
Visco Elastic Mattress Collection - The Visco-elastic mattress
collection contains a full size spring unit under a memory
foam layer Polymer technology (High Resilient Foam). Mattresses
in this collection are: Eclipse, Conforma, Sculpture, Envoy,
Rhapsody, Legend, Stature, Cool Plus, Majestic Memory and
Resilence.
Latex Mattress Collection - These mattresses contain springs
topped off with a luxury Natural Talalay Latex layer. Mattresses
in this collection are: Latex Leisure, Latex Superior and
Platnium Charm.
Visco Elastic & Latex Mattress Collection – Mattresses
in this range contain springs topped off with a luxurious
layer of Memory Foam (Visco Elastic) which is supported by
a layer of Natural Talalay Latex, they are the Grandeur and
Alfresco.
