Silentnight

Silentnight was originally formed by Tom and Joan Clarke under the name Clarkes Mattresses Limited in 1946 in the North Yorkshire town of Skipton. In 1951, the name was changed to Silentnight Limited. Silentnight quickly progressed and are now located in Barnoldswick, Lancashire. The company went public in 1973.

Silentnight is the major brand within the Silentnight Group, one of the largest mattress and bed manufacturers in the UK. Their unique Miracoil spring system is what sets Silentnight Mattresses apart from all other brands. This design uses a special spring that stops each partner from rolling together during the night. It is manufactured using one continuous spring that runs from the head of the bed to the foot of the bed. This allows a sleeper's body weight to be distributed evenly throughout the mattress from the top to the bottom of the bed

Silentnight mattresses are manufactured in all UK standard sizes including 3ft 0in Single, 4ft 0in Small Double, 4ft 6in Double, 5ft 0in King and 6ft 0in Super King.
